Income protection

Because you never know what’s round the corner

Helping to ease the financial burden should you be unable to work due to illness or accidental injury.

Did you know?

If you are unable to work the benefit from the state is unlikely to cover your monthly living costs.

  • £79.15 per week for the first 28 weeks (as at 6 April 2009)
  • After an assessment phase this could rise to £89.80 per week (source: Department of Work and Pensions as at 6 April 2009)

Is this enough to cover your monthly outgoings such as mortgage payments, food and household bills? Use our on-line Cost of Living calculator to find out whether or not your outgoings would be covered by relying on the basic state incapacity benefit
