Accidental damage cover for accidents in your home such as putting your foot through the loft floor or spilling paint down the outside wall of your house while painting the windows.

Contents insurance accidental damage cover
Accidental loss or damage cover for home contents, to cover accidental breakage of items like vases and ornaments, as well as DIY disasters like spilling paint on carpets or furniture.

Accidental damage cover – what's not covered?

Your policy will not pay for:

• Any damage caused by chewing, biting, clawing, tearing, vomiting or fouling by any domestic pet.
• Any damage which happens gradually or is the result of wear and tear.
• You will have to pay the first £25 of any claim, or any excess amount that applies, whichever is the higher amount.
