We have over 650 Nationwide branches across the UK.
At a branch you can do the following:
- Pay cash and cheques into your account
-
You can pay cash and cheques into your account at any Nationwide branch. Cash paid into your account will be available to withdraw instantly. However cheques paid into your account will take longer to be available. If you deposit cash and/or cheques at a Nationwide cash machine there may be a delay of one working day for the funds to be credited to your account.
If you're paying in cash to cover a bill payment, cheque or direct debit, please ensure you pay your money in the working day before the payment is due.
- Withdraw cash and cheques
-
As long as you have enough in your account you can withdraw up to £500 a day at your local branch. If you need more than £500, please give your branch at least 48 hours notice. (Your request may take up to 72 hours - but we recommend checking with your branch beforehand).
- Pay your bills
-
You can arrange to pay bills and transfer money at any Nationwide branch. You will only be able to pay bills at our branch counters (except payments to Nationwide, for example, payments to your Nationwide credit card) if you have set up an electronic Bill Payment. For information on how to do this please see our Online Banking Demo.
