Road Safety – In October, all primary school pupils in their first year at school will receive a fun reflector to help motorists see them in the dark. Interactive games and factsheets about road safety are also available on www.NationwideEducation.co.uk to help increase their awareness. The resources for teachers, parents and pupils are being updated in October - so watch this space.

Committed to the environment

Partnership with Mosaic – Nationwide is currently working with Mosaic, a national project, led by the Campaign for National Parks, that aims to build sustainable links between black and minority ethnic communities and the National Parks and Youth Hostels Association. The Mosaic project works by training influential leaders from ethnic minority communities to become "Community Champions" promoting the National Parks and the YHA in their communities.
