Technology’s great, but sometimes face to face is better. That’s why we keep investing in our branches. So when you want to talk to us about our products and services, the good causes we support or the communities we serve, you can pop into your local branch.
Your Manchester branch is moving – and getting bigger
On Friday 6 October 2017, this branch will shut and we’ll move into the Cross Street branch, which is a five-minute walk away.
On Saturday 21 October 2017, the Cross Street branch will close.
From Monday 23 October 2017, we’ll all move to our slick new branch in Market Street, which is a two-minute walk from both here and Cross Street.
We’ve listened to what you want. So you can expect a more spacious branch – designed so you can chat to your usual team in a relaxed atmosphere.
There’s also good news about our opening hours: you’ll find we’re open for longer, including Saturdays. No more rushing round town to fit everything in when you need to come in to the branch.
Nationwide NOW’s making the move with us, too – your direct high-definition video link to a whole team of Nationwide consultants and personal banking managers.
A date for your diary
You still have until Friday 6 October 2017 to make use of your current Manchester Piccadilly branch before we close it ready for the move.
And of course, we’re still here to help you online and by phone if you need us.
How do we decide whether to close a branch?
We follow the British Bankers Association Access to Banking Standard.
Download and read how we reached our decision, and see what we’re doing to support our members during the move.
