Scope of report

Unless otherwise stated, data is for the financial year 5 April 2006 to 4 April 2007.

Data for the enlarged Society resulting from the Nationwide-Portman merger, which came into effect on 28 August 2007, is not included in the report unless stated otherwise.

* On 7 February 2007 the Society announced its intention to sell Nationwide Life and Nationwide Unit Trust Managers.
