Policy Statement

Nationwide Building Society (Nationwide) and its subsidiary companies (together the Group) commit to operate with honesty and integrity in all of their business activities and promote an anti-bribery and corruption culture across the Group.

The Group seeks to adhere to all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption and expects its employees and business partners to operate with honesty, integrity and transparency in all business activities.

The Group is committed to ensuring that it operates free from corrupt practices and has developed risk based controls and procedures to support this commitment. These controls and procedures include a communication programme, staff training, a confidential whistle-blowing procedure and monitoring and review of the anti-bribery and corruption policy.
