Voting in numbers

Because we’re a building society run for your benefit, every year we ask you to vote on a number of key issues, such as the election of your Directors. It’s a right you don’t have if you’re only a customer of a high street bank.

Voting is quick, easy and does make a difference and this year's AGM votes did just that. As a result of everyone voting, Nationwide was able to donate £250,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support. The money raised will be used to help fund two Cancer Information and Support Centres.
