Nationwide's Annual General Meeting

We're a building society run for your benefit and so each year we ask you to vote on a number of key issues, such as the election of directors. It's a right you don't have if you're only a customer of a high street bank.

AGM 2010

Nationwide’s 2010 Annual General Meeting will take place at 11am on Thursday 22nd July at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE. Voting members will start to receive their AGM packs in mid-June.

AGM 2009

The votes of Nationwide members in the Society's 2009 Annual General Meeting have helped raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. Nationwide promised to donate 20p for each vote cast in the AGM, up to its target and maximum donation of £250,000.

Nationwide's Chief Executive Graham Beale presented a cheque for £250,000 to a Macmillan representative immediately following the result of the vote at the AGM event held on Thursday 16 July 2009.
