Nationwide Building Society employees from Northampton were well represented at Nationwide’s Annual Awards, winning Team of the Year and PRIDE Champion of the Year.
The Annual Awards event is the highlight of the Nationwide calendar, recognising the Society’s highest performers from across the business for their commitment to delivering excellent customer service, raising the bar in their day to day performance and inspiring trust amongst customers and colleagues.
Nationwide’s Team of the Year award was won by the Business Savings Team*. The team was recognised for its determination and hard work, and the great performance of each team member in helping the team to exceed their targets.
Commercial Divisional Director, Bryce Glover, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for a new team. Despite only being launched in January 2012, the team has passed many milestones. They have huge amounts of enthusiasm and this really comes through in the feedback and results they get. They have a key focus on serving customers and have received some great comments about the high level of service which they offer. It’s great to see our Northampton teams recognised among Nationwide peers from across the country”.
Also finding success at the Northampton administration centre was Lisa-Jane Kushniruk, service delivery manager in Mortgage Servicing. Lisa was awarded the accolade of PRIDE Champion of the Year, for her unrivalled passion and commitment to Nationwide’s culture. Lisa went over and above the requirements of her day job to deliver a fantastic programme of events for her colleagues, inspiring and engaging them.
Nationwide Group Director, Alison Robb, said: “Lisa has demonstrated an excellent commitment to Nationwide’s culture of being on the side of our customers. She has developed a series of events to encourage her colleagues and recognise their achievements. Lisa has demonstrated great leadership ability, and her energy and enthusiasm makes her a very worthy recipient of the award.”
