Jacqueline Richmond, who works at Nationwide Building Society’s Kilmarnock branch, won the On Your Side award for Customer Service at the Society’s recent annual employee awards event.
The Annual Awards Event is the highlight of the Nationwide calendar, recognising the Society’s highest performers from across the business for their commitment to delivering excellent customer service, raising the bar in their day to day performance and inspiring trust amongst customers and colleagues.
Nationwide Group Director, Alison Robb, said: “Despite being with the society for just over a year, Jacqueline has demonstrated exceptional behaviours and commitment to her role, and has an outstanding relationship with our customers. She is always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond what is asked of her, and is an inspiration to those around her. She has a real focus on helping customers and making them better off, as well as being a positive influence across the whole team”.
Jacqueline said: “I was surprised to be nominated, and really couldn’t believe it when I won. My philosophy has always been to treat customers how I would want to be treated, and I think this was ultimately what helped me win on the night. I’ve recently been promoted and really enjoy the job I do”.
