Derbyshire announces personal loan ‘rate sale’

Society reduces its personal loan rate to a market-leading 5.0% APR Representative

18 February 2013

With effect from Tuesday 19 January 2013, Derbyshire Building Society is reducing its personal loan rate to a market-leading 5.0% APR Representative – the lowest rate advertised in the UK this decade¹.

This market-leading rate is only available for one week, starting on 19th February and must finish at 11pm, Monday 25th February.

The rate is available for loans of between £7,500 and £15,000 for a term of up to five years. Customers can apply for the loan via www.thederbyshire.co.uk or through the main comparison websites.

The Derbyshire has recently been voted ‘Best Personal Loan Provider’ at the Moneynet Personal Finance Awards 2013.

Paul Wootton, Nationwide’s head of personal loans, said: “There are times in people’s lives when they need a personal loan in order to spread the cost of a purchase.

“There has never been a better time to consider a Derbyshire personal loan, with the Society now offering a market-leading rate of 5.0% APR representative. Applicants need to act quickly if they want to apply for this great rate as it’s only available for one week.

“The Derbyshire loan has only been available for a year, so to win an award for being the ‘Best Personal Loan Provider’ is a fantastic achievement.”
